On 11-25-24, Ford released a Technical Service Bulletin stating:

Some 2024 F-150 vehicles built on or before 14-May-2024 equipped with a 3.5L PowerBoost engine and 2024 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.5L EcoBoost or 5.2L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with stored in the DTC P2C90 PCM. To correct this condition, perform the Service Procedure to inspect the PCV system and reprogram the PCM to the latest software level via the FDRS.

Follow the Service Procedure to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all of the following criteria: • One of the following vehicles:- 2024 F-150 built on or before 14-May-2024 equipped with 3.5L PowerBoost engine- 2024 F-150 equipped with 3.5L EcoBoost or 5.2L engine • DTC P2C90 stored in the PCM

The error code reported is:

P2C90 – Crankcase ventilation disconnected

Solution:

Make sure the white vent tube provided by aFe is installed per instructions. If issue persists, contact Ford for part inspection.

Action Required:

Ford will inspect and replace PVC Tube Assembly and reprogram the PCM to the latest software level if necessary (See Ford’s Technical Service Bulletin).
