Since 1999
On the drive back from SEMA 1999, two engineers shared their frustrations with the limitations of the common air filter. They envisioned a high-flow air filter featuring progressive filter media and a polyurethane base for added structure. A prototype was made, advanced FLOW engineering (aFe) was born, and the rest is history.
