Pushing Your 3rd Gen Tundra To The Limit

aFe POWER was eager to be the first aftermarket automotive parts manufacturer to get their hands on the 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra. This full-sized pickup is an impressive contender to previous models with its stock twin-turbo 3.4L V6 engine boasting 389 HP and 479 lb/ft torque. However, those stats weren’t enough for us, and we wanted to push it even further.

Cold Air Intake

Add up to 17 hp of horsepower and 17 lb-ft of torque with aFe’s Momentum GT Cold Air Intake. This system incorporates minimal parts and fits like a glove, a testament to aFe’s hallmark straightforward installation and maximum durability.

The Momentum GT line features a patented housing-to-tube interface made with in-house rotational molding technology. The material is heat-resistant and smooth to the touch, produced from sleek, high-quality XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene). The housings are stylized with popular tire-tread design suited the rugged outdoor lifestyle. High-density cold air and a secure, seamless fit force more power to the pedal.

Quality is in the details, evident by premium clamps and silicone bellow couplings. Uniquely designed dual-airbox housings feature clear-sight windows that allow hassle-free inspection of the massive 8″ tall, 360-degree radial flow air filters. The industry-leading washable and reusable air filters are available in the oil-free Pro DRY S or the iconic Pro 5R varieties.

Cat-Back Exhaust Systems For The Gen 3 Tundra

The Tundra reaches its full potential with the additional power and enhanced sound of the aFe POWER’s Vulcan Series 2.5″ to 3″ 304 Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System. High-grade Type 304 Stainless Steel tubing is mandrel-bent and 100% MIG-Welded for race-proven strength and maximum durability.

This direct bolt-on system requires no cutting or modifications and uses factory-style flanges and hangers. The high-flow Type 304 Stainless Steel muffler deepens the Tundra’s pulsing exhaust note and is designed to both feel and hear the added 12 hp of horsepower and 18 lb-ft of torque. Customize the package with stylish options for Black or Polished tips.

Also available is the Apollo GT Series Hi-Tuck 2-1/2 IN to 3 IN 409 Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System which provides maximum clearance for off-roading. The Hi-Tuck design protects over rough terrain while still delivering 12 hp of horsepower and 18 lb-ft of torque.

The sturdy loops mount directly to the front frame and are much safer than the factory tie-down loop when towing or recovering a stuck vehicle. The 3/4″ solid steel loop safely withstands and distributes heavy loads, allowing access to several recovery attachments for a strong and durable recovery point.

Weather-resistant, powder-coated bright red stands out in any of the elements during off-road adventures. 3/16″ laser-cut, CNC machined steel brackets and 3/4″ solid steel bar are MIG welded for strength and durability. No drilling or modifications are needed. Bolt them directly on the front sway bar mounts without the fear of hindering the Active Aero front spoiler and factory bumper so you can go wherever the adventure takes you.
