Issue:

Some vehicles may experience a check engine light with DTC P04F0 (EVAP System High Load Purge Line A Performance) after installation of the Takeda Intakes listed above.

Solution:

This issue has been resolved with the addition of a revised aluminum insert (Part Number 03-50833) and revised tube (Part Number 05-5670060B1), which features an enlarged hole for the inserts.

These updated components have been implemented in all current and future production.
For reference, see Step 10 in the latest instruction manual for installation guidance.

Action Required:

If a customer received the first batch of intakes with the problem and reports DTC P04F0 after installing one of the affected intake systems, they should:

Request the updated aluminum fitting and hose (Part Number 03-50833) and revised tube (Part Number 05-5670060B1).
