Technical Service Bulletin #TB2025-07

Hyundai Elantra N Takeda Intake | Code P04DB Fix

Affected Part Numbers:

Affected Vehicles:

  • 2025–2026 Hyundai Elantra N 2.0L (t)

Issue:

The 2025–2026 Hyundai Elantra N may experience a check engine light with code P04DB (Crankcase Ventilation System Disconnected) after installation of these Takeda Intakes.

Solution:

This issue has been resolved with a redesigned tube and fitting to create the proper airflow in the crankcase.

  • As of January 2026, these updated components have been implemented in production.

  • We do not recommend the use of any other fix for this issue, including the use of a check valve.

Action Required:

If reporting P04DB after installing these intakes on a 2025–2026 Elantra N:

  1. Contact aFe POWER Technical Support

  2. Request the revised tube (Part Number 59-90006).
