BMW G87 M2 Build Sheet
The 2024 BMW M2 G87 is a high-performance coupe that blends modern design with track-inspired engineering, making it a standout in the BMW M lineup. This second-generation M2 builds on the legacy of its predecessor while introducing cutting-edge technology and performance enhancements. It delivers 453 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, making it more powerful than the previous generation.
When we built our G87 M2 for SEMA, we aimed to create a clean and elevated daily driver that showcased our Momentum GT Cold Air Intake and MACH Force-Xp Cat-Back Exhaust. Our goal wasn’t an over-the-top build, but to enhance the driving experience with maximum airflow and a more engaging sound.
The intake harnesses maximum airflow and works together with the Scorcher and exhaust, allowing the vehicle to breathe in and breathe out and fire on all cylinders.

MACH Force-Xp Exhaust System
“BMWs already have a very distinct sound. We challenged the Exhaust Team to make it better — not just louder, but better.”
- Aggressive Sound: A free-flowing, transverse muffler is used to absorb high pitch tones producing a powerful sound and unleashing all available horsepower and torque. The muffler is finished with a high-temp powder-coated black finish and a stamped aFe power logo.
- Exhaust Valve: This cat-back exhaust system incorporates a factory style exhaust valve which uses the factory exhaust valve motor (not included). The valve helps regulate, direct and control the flow of exhaust gases by opening, closing, or partially obstructing passageways depending on throttle position for maximum performance.

Eibach Lowering Springs complete the build by improving stance and cornering without sacrificing ride comfort. The E46-inspired HRE wheels lend a retro feel while the square tire setup balances handling and improves tire wear. We favored subtle outward aesthetics with monochrome striping, color-matching reflectors, and carbon fiber accents.
